Jorum Studio Phloem Extrait de Parfum
Like a neon trident, vascular blooms rip through mercurial waters. Candied rosé sky floods the costal cottage provoking lucid dreams of obsessive Selkie skin-love, lips smack with saline dab.
Founded in 2019 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall and designer Chloe Mullen, Jorum Studio is an Edinburgh-based niche fragrance house with a keen sensibility for innovative compositions rooted in the traditions of classical perfumery, offering an ever-evolving perspective on modern luxury scent. For us, Jorum Studio offer one of the most unique ranges we’ve ever experienced and is constantly top of our favourites list.
Impression: Passion Fruit, Mulberry, Nasturtium, Honeysuckle, Rhubarb, Blaeberry, Camellia, Oysterplant.
Fade: Meadowsweet, Ambrette, Sesame, Amyris, Tonka Bean Absolute.
What a sticky mess.
Phloem presents a miasma of olfactory sin; flushed skin, shoreline, carnival frivolities, caviar, lipstick smears and erogenous effluvium. Sucrose-sweetness is tempered with greasy spices that hinder Phloem from sliding into tooth-achingly sweet territory. A damp note of nutty driftwood and hot gooey styrax gum continues deep into the fade.
Phloem is hallucinogenic vapour with a marbled psychedelic development.
Made in Scotland.
INGREDIENTS: Alcohol Denat., Parfum (Fragrance), Dipropylene Glycol, Citronellol, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, d-Limonene, Geraniol, Farnesol
