The front of this floor cushion was hand-woven in Northern India before finding its way to your home.

The RAIN cushion front is made in the same way as a Kilim rug. Kilim is the name for a thin, flat, tapestry-woven, graphic style rug. It is made by weaving the horizontal yarn (weft) through vertical yarn (warp). The wool is woven so tightly that the warp is barely visible. This makes for a very durable rug or cushion, that can handle weight and movement.

The back of the cushion is made from a grey/blue cotton with a button closure. Supplied with a feather inner.
